Started four decades ago as a minuscule group, Kerala Ecumenical Christian Fellowship (KECF) has now grown up as an organization acting as a conduit that unites various fellow Christian organizations. The organization started on the outskirts of St. Luke united methodist church on the 26th of December, 1979 with due to 60 people as a carol group. This organization is the union of immigrants belonging to Orthodox, Marthoma, CSI group. The organization then decided to conduct Christian carol every year from then onwards.
It was the general body meeting held on April 1, 2001 that decided to rename this organisation as Kerala Ecumenical Christian fellowship of Dallas (KECF). The organisation that had started as the union of 3 subgroup has now grown up on a gargantuan level inclusive of organisation like Malankara orthodox, Marthoma, CSI Malankara Jacobite, Syro Malabar catholic, Khanaya catholic, Khanaya Jacobite, Evangelical church and so on.
Promotion of mutual love and respect, belief, fraternity.
New year program, Ecumenical 3 days conventions, Ecumenical world day prayer and other important events.
To bring to its fold the new generation Christians, to beliefs and rituals.
Behind every cloud there is always a silver line lin of hope. Through fellowship where you share your sorrows, it divides. And when you share your happiness, it multiplies. It's a true story of life.
A minute now is better than a minute later. Until you value yourself, you will not value your time, If you want to make good use of your time, you have not to know what is important and then give it all you have got.
